Have you ever heard the music?
For example when you are lying in bed, getting ready to fall asleep, have you ever heard what sounds like soft tones or frequencies, maybe even voices or singing, as if far off?
Also, when you close your eyes to meditate or perhaps to sleep, do you ever hear a low, pleasant hum emanating from somewhere within yourself? A frequency all its own?
You might have mistaken both of these sounds for normal ear ringing or something like tinnitus. In some cases, that could very well be what it is.
In a lot of cases, however, that is not what it is — especially if you are a spiritual seeker. In fact the more you seek, the more you are likely to hear these sounds.
Understand that while these sounds will continue to exist whether you understand them or not — they are also an offering. And if you accept this offering, utilizing the sound as it is meant to be utilized, you will have the potential to attain incredible consciousness expansion.
The Buddha spoke about these sounds, calling them the sounds that are far and near. He intimated that these tones, frequencies, and even music, are Divine — or heavenly — and that they are also a means by which we can attain enlightenment.
“I have proclaimed to my disciples the way whereby with the Divine Ear element (clairaudience), which is purified and surpasses the human, they hear both kinds of sounds, the divine and the human, those that are far as well as near. Just as a vigorous trumpeter might make himself heard without difficulty in the four quarters; so too, I have proclaimed to my disciples the way whereby with the Divine Ear element … far as well as near. And thereby many disciples of mine abide having reached the consummation and Perfection of Direct Knowledge.” — The Middle Length Discourses of the Buddha
The far sound of which he speaks is the Divine sound and the near is the human sound. However just because the second is human does not mean it isn’t also spiritual and/or Divine. In the passage the Buddha is separating the sounds by origination, not value. The Divine sound comes from Source (or God), while the human sound comes from within us (we, who are also Divine).
Many people hear the far sound in the form of music and it’s that way for me, as well. It is very faint, often heard at night or in the utter silence, andsounds symphonic and even choral, like a literal choir of angels. When teaching my students about this sound I refer to it as the music of the spheres according to D. Scott Rogo’s excellent book titled NAD: A Psychic Study Of The Music Of The Spheres in which he examines this phenomenon at length. (Unfortunate title; wonderful book — I highly recommend it.)
By spheres what is meant is dimensions.
Dimensions, like all other things, consist of energy — some denser, some finer or more subtle. The energy of dimensions is moving around, forming and unforming things, and in doing so emits a signal. This signal is the sound, and it can be picked up all around us because it is all around us.
As spiritual seekers, we should train ourselves to hear this sound more often and more clearly.
And when we do locate it? We must follow the sound. The far sound emanates from (and reverberates back to) the Divine, or that which we would call God — and we can literally follow the flow of the sound back to Source. The closer we are to Source, the more enlightened we become.
The secret to your training is to not chase the far sound when you hear it, but to be with it instead. To locate it, hook in, and then stay with it meditatively as it moves and flows. Doing this will take you to what Buddha called the consummation and perfection of direct knowledge.
The inner sound, on the other hand, is also something we should seek to hook into. It is a tool especially suited for consciousness and dimensional travel and experience. Meaning, if you work with your near sound, learning to meditate with it to go deeper (or higher), you will have the opportunity at some point to travel and experience interdimensionally. This too is a form of direct Divine knowledge.
I teach a three-fold technique in which I sync up the near or inner sound with the inner sight, which is then synced up with the personal frequency, or inner energy. This is an incredibly powerful technique that, if done right, will alter you faster than just about any other technique, and also propel you out of body and into the transdimensional experiences of which I speak.
The thing I want people to understand is that the sound is everywhere, and it’s a superhighway. It’s a superhighway leading to incredible spiritual and energetic experiences, and we all have access to it. It’s just that we are often too busy, too stressed, too over-calendared to hear anything, or to even try to hear anything. Countless opportunities for enlightenment and expansion are missed entirely because we are simply not paying attention.
This is the #1 reason so many of us feel disconnected — because we are not observing. We are not looking therefore we are not finding. It is as simple as that.
Here is the truth: You were born with everything you need to connect with, experience, and to receive messages from Spirit. You don’t need to go to a priest or a psychic or a healer in order to “make contact”. You have all the connective parts right within and without you — you simply must train yourself to notice and then to use them. You can start today by acquainting yourself with the far and the near sounds, and learning to use them.
I won’t go too deeply into all of this. Yesterday I received a massive download from Spirit about this subject and as soon as I did synchronicity after synchronicity followed, confirming that this is an area that is of utmost importance to all of us, and in which I should also teach. And so in the near future, I hope to do just that.
For now, my friends, I ask that you simply pay attention. Tonight while everything is silent and you are in bed beneath the covers, try to hear the far frequency. The tones. The music. It will be there because it is always there. Key in on the sound and when you do, stay with it for as long as you can without falling asleep.
Also, perhaps during meditation today or also when you are in bed, go inward and search for the tone of your near or inner sound. Your only task right now is to locate these sounds and to stay with them.
If you can do this, you are on your way to living an enlightened and spiritually evidential life.
