We had a spirit visit. My daughter saw her first, standing off the left corner at the foot of her bed.
My daughter sees spirits — as in, actually. They often start off as what she calls “pixelations”, or electric-looking wires which form a non-static silhouette. These spirits sometimes materialize in full and other times she sees them completely in her mind’s eye.
As for me, I see spirits in my mind via my third eye, usually in image flashes, as if on a film strip or television screen. I also hear words and sense presences sympathetically or magnetically. I do not see as clearly as my daughter, however.
She has seen many spirits over the years but never was very afraid. I never disabused her of her abilities so she has grown up accepting and working with them freely. She knows spirits are around us all and she is fine with that. Last night, though, she was scared.
She saw the woman, her eyes were “pits” and her mouth was gaping, a long oval circle. She was naked, her hair was tangled and wet and she was very, very angry. As soon as she mentioned this spirit I also saw her in my mind’s eye and promptly got “chicken skin” all over my body. I knew this spirit had been hurt — more specifically, killed. My daughter agreed. I contacted my best friend in Hawaii, a powerful clairvoyant and kahuna, and she confirmed that this spirit had passed and that she was murdered. Drowned. Unlike my daughter, I was not afraid.
There is always a reason when spirits come to us. We humans are all little lights, and the light of psychics burns a little differently, a little brighter in appearance to others in spirit — often drawing attention to us. When spirits see these curious lights they often come and once they know they are perceived, they often linger. Yet although we are lights, we are not the Light, and this is what the spirit needs to realize.
The answer isn’t to be afraid, it is always to love them. Yes, as trite as it sounds, love is always the answer, period.
For example, picture a knock on your door and when you open it there is a little old lady who thinks she is at her son’s house. She is confused and lost. Would you be afraid of her? Would you yell at her to get away, to beat it? Of course you wouldn’t. No decent person would. Instead you’d help the little old lady, find out where she needs to be and then help her get there safe and soundly.
It’s the same with spirits. Most often they are lost and simply need to understand where they are and where they need to be. And so love them. Bless them. Tell them they no longer need to suffer or dwell in this dimension or on this plane, that they need to go into the light.
Love them into the light.
This is what we did last night. I joined my daughter in her bedroom and stood in the spot where the spirit had materialized. We said an Our Father and a Hail Mary and then I talked to her as compassionately as possible and told her where she was and where she needed to be. We also said if she needed to give us a message she could, but she shouldn’t scare my daughter giving it. We blessed her and then left the room. My daughter slept with me, but before getting into my bed she peeked out of my room and saw the woman standing in her bedroom doorway, still angry, looking back at her.
I shut the door and sealed it with a visualized cross of protection. I placed angels at the door and affirmed that no negative energy or force was allowed to enter. I placed both my daughter and myself in a space of protection and felt at peace. We both fell asleep without issue.
This spirit is still around. We will continue to bless her and send her to the light, and receive any messages she might want to give. No fear. Just love.
